Amaravati (AP), Aug 02 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting held in Amaravati on Thursday. During the meeting, the cabinet has approved the unemployment allowance and finalised rules and regulations for making payments under the scheme. The Cabinet meeting has given a nod for the scheme of paying Rs 1000 per month to the unemployed youth in the state. The programme is named as “Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestam”(CM Young Friend). Age limit is decided from 22 years to 35 years. Degree or Polytechnic is decided as the academic qualification. A website will be launched by the end of this month, on which the unemployed youth can register their details. After 15 days registrations, disbursement of allowance will start. The allowance will be paid directly through bank accounts. On the other hand, the data of unemployed youth in the state will be made available for industries and companies searching for young talent. Nara Lokesh asserted that the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) is launching this programme as it was the poll promise made by Chandrababu Naidu during 2014 election campaign.
