Kochi (Kerala), Aug 12 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that Rs 80.25 crore have been released for Kerala floods. While talking about Kerala floods he said, “The Centre is extremely sensitive to the needs of Kerala at this juncture. The first installment of Rs 18.25 crore central share of SDRF for 2018-19 has been released last month. Before leaving for Kerala I have approved the release of second installment of RS 80.25 crore in advance from the SDRF. If further NDRF teams are needed then we will provide them.” Rajnath Singh is in Kochi to survey the situation due to Kerala floods. Earlier in the day he also met flood victims along with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and minister KJ Alphonse.
