Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Aug 22 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Wednesday took part in ‘Asthi Kalash Yatra’ of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Ahmedabad. CM Vijay Rupani and Gujarat BJP Chief Jitu Vaghani immersed Vajpayee’s ashes in Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad earlier today. CM Rupani recited one of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s poems, remembering him as a true lover of his nation. On August 19, ashes of the former Prime Minister were immersed in Ganga River at Har-ki-Pauri in Haridwar. Vajpayee, the 10th Prime Minister of India, breathed his last on August 16. He was cremated on 17 August with full state honour at Smriti Sthal in the national capital.
