Panaji (Goa), Aug 08 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama on Wednesday stated that the institution of Dalai Lama is no longer politically relevant. Speaking at the Goa Institute of Management, the Dalai Lama said, “As early as 1969 I formally made statement about whether Dalai Lama institution should continue or not. Chinese are more concerned about this institution because of political reasons. Elected political leadership carry full responsibility I was never involved in that decision. So now, the Dalai Lama institution is no longer politically relevant.”
