Lucknow (UP), Aug 06 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Women and Child Welfare Minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi on Monday reacted on Deoria shelter home rape case. She said that shelter home that after Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inspection last year, it was established that it was running illegally. Joshi added that a direction was issued to shift the inmates and shut it. But this order was not followed. “On 01 Aug, FIR was lodged to shut it immediately as illegal acts were being carried on. No. of children enrolled at centre as per records are not present. 1 child was rescued y’day who has filed a complaint. Investigation is underway,” added Rita Bahuguna Joshi.
