Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Aug 05 (ANI): Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Sunday in Tashkent. Before meeting with President of Uzbekistan, EAM Sushma met Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismoilov. Both dignitaries discussed the role of Parliament in fostering closer people-to-people relationship. Her meeting came hours after she interacted with indologists, Hindi teachers and ITEC and ICCR alumni earlier today. Swaraj reached Uzbekistan on the final leg of her three-nation tour after concluding her visit to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
