New Delhi, Aug 16 (ANI): Prominent politicians on Thursday visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) where former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee breathed his last on Thursday. The BJP veteran was declared dead at 5:30 pm on August 16, an unending cavalcade of politicians had frequented the hospital since last night. Vajpayee’s health condition had been critical and was on life support system, AIIMS informed in a press note today. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh were amongst the few who visited him before his demise today. Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi, Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi and Bihar minister Nand Kishore Yadav also visited earlier today. Vajpayee was admitted to AIIMS on June 11 after complaints of urinary tract infection, low urine output and chest congestion.
