Mumbai, Aug 11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay will get a financial aid under the status of Institution of Eminence (IoE). While addressing a convocation ceremony at IIT Bombay, PM Modi said, “The confidence I can see on your face confirms that we are moving in the right direction. IIT Bombay will get a financial aid of Rs 1000 Crore. It was a large number of IIT students who built the IT sector of India, brick by brick.” Prime Minister Modi arrived in Mumbai on Saturday morning, where he was received by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
