Jewellery store in Surat sells unique gold rakhis with engravings of PM Modi, CM Yogi

Surat (Gujarat), Aug 25 (ANI): As the Hindu festival of Raksha Bandhan nears, the trend of unique rakhis is again peaking. The diamond and textile city of Gujarat, Surat is attracting attention selling rakhis made of gold, with faces of prominent politicos. The jewellery store boasts of rakhis with faces of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani engraved on them. The cost of each rakhi ranges between Rs 30, 000 to Rs 60,000, and 50 such rakhis were made. The store owners say that almost all these customized rakhis have been sold. The stores Director says, that our Prime Minister, Chief Minister and UP Chief Minister have done good work for our country and inspire millions across the world and thus rakhis with their images have been made. A customer says, “By tying this Narendra Modi rakhi I would bless my brother to do something great like PM Modi.” A sweet shop owner in the city was in news for making sweets with gold work which was sold for Rs 9000 per kg.
