Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Aug 24 (ANI): Kanti Mishra, niece of Atal Bihari Vajpayee refuted Vajpayee’s other niece’s, Karuna Shukla’s controversial remark about Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She said that the Kalash Yatra is for those who can’t go out of their houses. She said, “I remember that even Nehruji’s Kalash yatra was also carried like this. In the Kalash yatra of Indiraji, Sikhs faced atrocities but nothing like that happened in the case of Vajpayee. People respect him and those who can’t go out of their houses have the only way to pay their respects through Kalash yatra.” Karuna Shukla on August 23 made a remark that BJP’s Kalash Yatra across the country is “show off and done for votes”.
