New Delhi, Aug 07 (ANI): Doyen of Tamil politics, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief, M. Karunanidhi passed away on Tuesday after a prolonged illness in Chennai. Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan paid his condolences to the family and said the demise of Karunanidhi is not just a loss for the state of Tamil Nadu but it’s a big loss for the country. “Karunanidhi was a great leader. He played a great role in national politics,” Pradhan added.
