Vandiperiyar (Kerala), Aug 22 (ANI): As water levels receded in flood-hit Kerala, families lodged in relief camps started returning home. Goutham, a 10th standard student, who returned to his home after spending 15 days in a relief camp, is distraught. His books and certificates got washed away, while some got wet in the floods of Vandiperiyar river bank area. Speaking to ANI, Gautham said, “We returned home from a relief camp after 15 days today and I can’t find my books. I don’t know how I will continue my studies now”. Gautham’s father on the other hand felt that he has “lost everything”.
