Kerala floods: Vegetable market crashes as Onam gets cancelled

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Aug 23 (ANI): Floods in Kerala and subsequent cancellation of Onam hit the flowers and vegetables businesses badly. Onam is a major annual event for Malayali people in and outside Kerala. But after the cancellation of Onam the local traders of vegetable and fruit markets in the district, which usually see brisk business during Onam, have also been hit badly. All states are providing relief fund for flood victims.
