Kerala rains: State reels under heavy downpour

Kozhikode, Kochi, Wayanad (Kerala), Aug 12 (ANI): Incessant rain fury continuous to lash pasts of Kerala. Torrential rain that struck Kerala had triggered a series of landslides and caused heavy floods in Idukki and Wayanad districts, leaving a trail of destruction across the state. However, the Kerala Government is on a high alert with more rains forecast. Over 30 people died due to the floods and landslides in the state. Severe rainfall continued to wreak havoc in several parts of Kerala. There is a flood-like situation in several parts of the state. People are facing problems as water has entered their houses.
