New Delhi, Aug 10 (ANI): Olympic boxer and Rajya Sabha MP Mary Kom upheld Parliament’s decision to pass a bill to establish a National Sports University in Manipur on Thursday. She said, “New talent would do better in upcoming games and championships. Manipur is known as sports powerhouse. I want to make it super sports powerhouse. Whatever government needs to do in this, I would be very happy to help.” National Sports University Bill, 2018 is being put in place to promote sport sciences, technology, research, training, management and coaching. A MoU was signed with Canberra and Victoria to inculcate their curriculum and expertise in the upcoming university here.
