Solapur/Mumbai (Maharashtra), Aug 01 (ANI): The Maratha Kranti Morcha protesters on Wednesday blocked the Pune-Solapur Highway in the ongoing Maratha stir over demand for reservation for the Maratha community. The Maratha Kranti Morcha released a press note according to which the community is organising a ‘Jail Bharo Andolan’ for their major demands. The protest will take place at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. The Mumbai police have tightened security for ‘Jail Bharo Andolan’ to maintain law and order. The police have also been asked to be on alert in other parts of Maharashtra as well in wake of ‘Jail Bharo Andolan’ called by the outfit.
