New Delhi, Aug 03 (ANI): Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Skill India signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for training of AC service technicians under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). The MoU aims to upskilling and certification of the technicians. The MoU was signed in presence of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Environment, Forests and Climate Change Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan. The Government of India will spend Rs 40 Crore for the skill development. “Skilling AC technicians not only important for enhancing their employability but will also contribute immensely to environment protection”, said Minister Pradhan while addressing the gathering.
