Mumbaikars extend support to flood-hit Kerala

Mumbai, Aug 19 (ANI): Amid the extreme weather condition and critical flood situation in parts of Kerala, residents of Mumbai joined hands and gathered essential commodities for the flood-hit parts of the state. On August 18, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed that the death toll in the flood-hit state has increased to 357. Vijayan added that the state has suffered a loss of Rs 19,512 crores due to floods. In some respite from the state, red alert has been withdrawn from all the districts of Kerala but eleven districts are on orange alert.
