Latehar( Jharkhand), Aug 4 (ANI): Budhapahar area in Latehar district of Jharkhand has been affected by Naxal-led violence.The outlawed Naxals residing in deep jungles of Jharkhand have now resorted to loot rations from the villagers. The self-proclaimed protectors of tribal rights are themselves dependent on villagers to sustain their livelihood. They extort a part of farm produce and the government ration entitled to villagers using violent means. The agonized villagers willingly take a cut of 2-3 kilos from their entitled rations to fill stomachs of Naxalites, who otherwise would loot all the farm produce generated in the village. Although, Naxalites threaten villagers receiving any help from the Centre, they are the first to pillage government rations and bereave villagers of their basic rights.
