Nitin Gadkari highlights measures taken for cleaning river Ganga

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 13 (ANI): Union River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Minister Nitin Gadkari held a press conference after attending ‘Namami Gange’ programme in Kanpur on Monday. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present at both the gatherings. In his address, Gadkari said, “We will provide funds to Uttar Pradesh government to clean drains which pollute Ganga before Kumbh Mela near Allahabad and will send 4 dredgers for dredging Ganga from Allahabad to Varanasi.” Union Minster Gadkari assured CM Yogi that no drainage will go into river Ganges from December 15.
