Odisha Fire Service provides services for relief across flood-hit Kerala

Kottayam/Alappuzha (Kerala), Aug 20 (ANI): Odisha Fire Services extended their help to provide relief for people trapped in floods in Kerala. The state owned service rescued people stranded at several parts in Kottayam and Alappuzha districts of the flood-ravaged state. They distributed relief materials to marooned citizens of the state. The state governments of Punjab, Bihar, Haryana, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and some other states have also announced assistance for helping the people in Kerala. The India Meteorological Department has predicted that for the next 5 days the rainfalls are likely to decrease across the state, giving some respite to the people of Kerala.
