Kochi (Kerala), Aug 25 (ANI): People thronged Thrikkakara Vamana Moorthy Temple in Kochi on Saturday for celebrations of Onam. Spirit of Onam stayed high as Kerala struggles to recover from the devastation caused by floods. The floods that dampened the Onam celebrations this year, did not however affect the spirit of Malyalis. Onam 2018 was supposed to be celebrated from August 15 to August 27, however, Kerala government earlier this month cancelled the Onam celebrations owing to the havoc wreaked by the floods.
