Badaun (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 01 (ANI): A policeman and a criminal were injured in an encounter after exchange of fire between them in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun. The injured were taken to a hospital. The injured criminal was arrested by police while the other one is absconding. Police had put a bounty of Rs 25,000 on the injured miscreant. Ashok Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police said, “The miscreant had a bounty of Rs 25,000 on him. When the police surrounded him he fired on them. A big police force was also called as they were many. In the encounter one of our policemen was injured. The miscreant was also injured and both of them have been sent to the hospital.”
