Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Aug 08 (ANI): Political leaders across party lines paid tribute to Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief Karunanidhi on Wednesday. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan paid homage to the DMK chief. Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad along with Veerapa Moily also paid tribute. Azad said, “He was known and respected across the country. His work and ideology will remain guiding factor for all of us. The void cannot be filled. It’s a great loss for the country as well as for the party.” Janata Dal (United) leader Tejashwi Yadav and Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav also flew to Chennai and paid tribute to the departed soul.
