Hyderabad/Lucknow (UP)/New Delhi/Guwahati (Assam), Aug 22 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the nation on the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha. The entire nation is celebrating Eid al-Adha, the festival of sacrifice. People throughout the country offered their prayers in various mosques. People offered Namaz at Delhi’s Parliament street Mosque. Prayers were offered at Lucknow’s Aishbagh Mosque. Hyderabad’s Mecca Masjid was thronged by worshippers on Eid. Worshippers also gathered at Guwahati’s mosque to offer prayers. Eid-Al-Adha is one of the two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide. It is celebrated according to lunar calendar every year.
