New Delhi, Aug 09 (ANI): Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said that the government has misused taxpayers’ money by buying planes in Rafael Deal from private companies. He said, “The money that the government takes from people through tax should not be misused. If the government buys planes worth Rs 1,650 crore which was bought by the UPA in Rs 560 crore then they should think where the taxpayers’ money is going. Also, they have given the contract to that company which is inexperienced. The government broke its contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HIL) and gave to private companies.” The Congress had asked for joint parliamentary committee to probe the Rafael Deal case on which the centre gave no response.
