Chennai (TN), Aug 08 (ANI): Congress president Rahul Gandhi visited Chennai’s Rajaji Hall on Wednesday to pay his last respects to Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M Karunanidhi. Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao also visited Rajaji Hall and paid floral tribute to the DMK chief. Five-time Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK chief Karunanidhi, died at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on August 07 after prolonged illness. He was 94-year-old. Scores of people gathered outside Rajaji Hall to see their deceased Kalaignar for the last time. He will be accorded with the state funeral later in the day.
