Reliance Foundation donates Rs 21 cr & relief material worth Rs 50 cr to Kerala

Alappuzha /Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Aug 30 (ANI): Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani’s wife Nita Ambani visited flood affected Kerala on Thursday. She visited children and people at relief camps in Alappuzha’s Pallipad village. She distributed goods like new school bags and books to children at the relief camps and interacted with them. She later met with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and donated Rs 21 crore to the CM relief fund for the welfare of flood victims. She also told that Reliance Industries is also donating relief material worth Rs 50 Crore. Kerala witnessed its worst-ever flood in a century in which at least 357 people were killed and over lakhs were rendered homeless.
