Kolkata (West Bengal), Aug 13 (ANI): Former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee’s mortal remains will be donated for medical research to the SSKM Hospital in Kolkata. Somnath Chatterjee passed away following a cardiac arrest on Monday at the age of 89. His mortal remains were brought outside West Bengal Assembly where he was given a 21 gun salute. 10-time Parliamentarian, Chatterjee served as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha from 2004 to 2009.
