Ramban (Jammu and Kashmir), Aug 25 (ANI): A key highway in landlocked Jammu and Kashmir was blocked due to landslides triggered by heavy rainfall. The Srinagar-Jammu National Highway in Ramsu area of Ramban district closed for traffic on Saturday after massive landslide and shooting stone problem. The route is important for material entering the state and a key route for pilgrims undertaking the Amarnath Yatra. Clearing operations started immediately, and vehicles were cleared from the area. Although, the route will be closed off till the debris is completely cleared.
