New Delhi, Aug 08 (ANI): Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan condoled the death of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief Karunanidhi on Wednesday. The lower house of the Parliament also observed silence to honour the departed soul. Speaker of the House Sumitra Mahajan informed that the House would be adjourned till 11 am on August 09. Paying her tribute to Karunanidhi she said, “During his long political career he ably showcased his admirable leadership qualities and work relentlessly for the cause of people. He was fondly called ‘Kalaignar’ meaning versatile personality. His passing away is an irreparable loss to the country.”
