Agartala (Tripura), Aug 03 (ANI): A team led by Economic Minister at Embassy of Japan in India, Kenko Sone held workshop with bamboo artisans from north-east in Agartala. People from Japanese Embassy and bamboo artisans from Japan are on a two-day visit to Agartala to discuss possibilities of India-Japan cooperation in bamboo craft sector. The workshop ‘Brindging India and Japanby Bamboo’ was inaugurated by Tripura Forest Minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia. Tripura is widely acclaimed for its bamboo handicrafts and art.
