Kolkata (West Bengal), Aug 25 (ANI): Congress leader P Chidamabaram said that there should be a detailed enquiry and public debate on Rafale Deal. He also questioned the government on the Rafale deal and termed the whole issue very suspicion. He said, “Is it correct that the UPA contract priced the contract at 5,26 crore, and the NDA contract prices the aircraft at 1,670 crore. If these numbers are correct why these numbers have gone up three times. Why is the government is so secretive about price, why are they refusing to answer questions?. All of this leads to suspicions. We think that the matter is serious enough that there should be a public debate and there should be a detailed inquiry. Which is why the Congress President and the party has raised it.”
