Kolkata (West Bengal), Aug 22 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Roopa Ganguly said that those who are born in India or are living since childhood need not worry about National Register of Citizens (NRC). When asked her views on Citizenship Bill that ‘Hindus are refugees, Muslims are infiltrators’, she said, “Pakistan and Bangladesh were partitioned because they were mainly Muslims. So Hindus are not the only refugees, Buddhists and Jains are also refugees. They took refuge after facing political unrest from different countries. Those who are living in India, including Muslims do not need to worry about NRC.”
