Latehar (Jharkhand), Aug 4 (ANI): Tribals of Latehar district in Jharkhand, who for years have been oppressed and misled by the Naxals, have now vowed to retaliate the cruelty and barbarity of the Naxals. They are not only voicing their solidarity with the victims of Naxal violence but have also united against them, shooting back their hooliganism. In one such incident, villagers thrashed the Naxals who were asking for protection money from the villagers. A country-wide defeat of Naxal-ideology has left them baffled and they are resorting to desperate measures to revive back their so-called movement. However, they no more gather any traction amongst the gullible tribals who are getting attracted towards rewarding policies being floated by the government in their welfare. The devious clout of Naxals is vanishing at a rapid pace owing to sustained efforts of the government that have yielded positive results of late. A significant rise in the number of rebels surrendering and joining the mainstream has proven to be a major setback to the satanic coterie of Maoists which has been using the poor tribals as its foot soldiers in furthering their agenda.
