Motihari (Bihar), Aug 18 (ANI): Sanjay Kumar, a professor at Mahatma Gandhi Central University in Bihar’s Motihari was thrashed by a mob. On August 17, he was thrashed for allegedly sharing a Facebook post which was critical of late Ex-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The anti-social elements threw petrol at Kumar. Following the incident, he was taken to a hospital. Sanjay Kumar said, “I was getting threats from the Vice Chancellor and some locals. The whole conspiracy is done by them. They said that I had shared a social media post which was critical of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. That post was written by someone else. So they attacked me regarding that post.” Students supporting the professor blocked the road while creating violence.
