Kolkata (West Bengal)/Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 24 (ANI): Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s ashes were immersed in Kolkata’s Gangasagar today. State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Dilip Ghosh along with leader Rahul Sinha commenced the Asthi Kalash Yatra from the BJP headquarters. Yesterday, Vajpayee’s Kalash Yatra took place across the state. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took part in the Asthi Kalash Yatra. It will be conducted from the BJP headquarters. UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “Various leaders of BJP will take part in the Asthi Kalash Yatra which will start from BJP’s headquarters. CM Yogi Adityanath and state BJP President along with other prominent leaders will also be present.”
