Varanasi (UP), Aug 09 (ANI): Devotees took holy dip in Ganga river in Varanasi on Thursday. After the holy dip, they offered ‘gangajal’ to lord Shiva on the occasion of Shivaratri. Shivratri is considered as the most auspicious day in the month-long ‘Sawan’. Special arrangements have been made in temple for the devotees this month. The temple witnesses four times the number of devotees during this holy month.
