Kolkata, Aug 13 (ANI): Former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee passed away today at the age of 89. His mortal remains were brought outside West Bengal Assembly where he was given 21 gun salute. Chatterjee died from cardiac arrest. 10-time Parliamentarian, Chatterjee served as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha from 2004 to 2009.
