Srinagar (J&K), Aug 13 (ANI): Dress rehearsal was held at the Sher-I-Kashmir Stadium ahead of the Independence Day on Monday amid tight security. SP Vaid, Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir highlighted the security arrangements and said, “Security arrangements are in place. We have made elaborate arrangements. I am sure that 15th August will pass off peacefully and people will be able to participate without fear or any danger.” The police contingent and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were present during the practice. Students from local schools also performed during the dress rehearsal.
