New Delhi, Aug 01 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy responded to a tweet by him which read, “India should tell B’Desh: “Take your people back who are illegally in India or give us back in proportion our land we gave to you in 1947 to settle Muslims who did not want to live in India then,” Swamy said, “The partition was on the basis, originally the English created partition for two countries, a Muslim ruled Pakistan and a Hindu ruled India. At that time Congress was our representative, they said we will not accept that, we will have a secular government, those Muslims who want to stay in India can stay in India. Those who went to Pakistan and Bangladesh now want to come back, then why did we have partition at all? If people want to come illegally, then give us the land in proportion for all the people that come here because we gave away our land for them.”
