New Delhi, Aug 26 (ANI): On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Women and children tied rakhi to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. Women from housewives to widows to women from other walks of life tied rakhis on the wrist of the prime minister. Even children tied rakhi to PM. The Prime Minister also shared a little moment with the kids and had sweets offered by them. Raksha Bandhan is about brothers taking a pledge to protect their sisters’ honour and respect owing to their relationship. The significance of this festival lies in celebrating the love of brothers and sisters for each other.
