Pune (Maharashtra), Sep 14 (ANI): To make the occassion of Ganesh Chaturthi yet more special, a 126 kg modak will be offered to Lord Ganesha at Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple in Pune. The modak has been made using dry fruits and silver leaf. The laddu is popularly known as Maha Prasadam. The Prasadam will be distributed among the people after the completion of Pooja. The ten-day festival, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi, falls on the fourth day of the Hindu month Bhadrapada, usually in August or September.
