Guwahati (Assam), Sep 05 (ANI): Two persons have died and at least 26 people have gone missing after a boat carrying 40 passengers capsized in Brahmaputra River in Guwahati earlier today. Deputy Commissioner of Police Virendra Mittal said, “11 persons have been rescued till now. We have received information that two people have died. NDRF and SDRF are working on a war footing. Army has also mobilized itself and will be here soon.” Police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams are present at the spot. Rescue operations are underway.
