Doda (Jammu & Kashmir), Sep 24 (ANI): Five people of a family were buried alive when a landslide hit their temporary shelter in Gandoh area of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place on the night of September 23 at Bhatoli, an isolated place situated around 18 km from tehsil headquarters, following heavy rainfall in the area. Bodies of all the five were retrieved from under the debris. Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Simrandeep Singh said, “They were with livestock in isolated place from the population area and landside triggered due to last night heavy rainfall in the area.” The deceased were identified as Bashir Ahmad (28), his wife Nageena Bagum (24), Zulfa Banoo (11), daughter of Noor Mohammad, Mohammed Sharief (9) and a two-year-old minor.
