Anyone who uses religion to disturb peace has to face punishment: Amarinder Singh on blasphemy law

New Delhi, Sep 04 (ANI): Speaking on the blasphemy law Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday said that anyone who uses religion to disturb the peace of the state will have to face punishment. He said, “We have asked for life sentence for blasphemy law because Punjab has been through difficult times. We have had nearly 35,000 people who have died in generated communal clashes, so we said that anyone who uses religion to disturb the peace of the state, has to face the music.” He also commented on Prakash Singh Badal’s recent comments on 2015 Kotkapura firing wherein the latter denied the firing. Singh said, “Then what kind of a Chief Minister he was that he doesn’t order firing and it has taken place in his state? Does he have no control over his police?
