Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Sep 06 (ANI): Security has been tightened in Bhopal in view of Bharat Bandh against amendments in SC/ST Act on Thursday. Police informed that, “Forces have been divided judiciously across the districts. It has been peaceful till now. Nobody can force anyone to be a part of the bandh.” Impact of nation-wide shutdown can be witnessed in several parts of the country. People from Upper caste are protesting against amendments in SC/ST act. Markets have been closed at several places. In Bihar’s Arrah district, protesters stopped a train as a sign of protest. Meanwhile, high alert has been issued in 35 districts across Madhya Pradesh in view of Bharat Bandh. 34 companies of security forces and 5000 security personnel have been deployed at various places. Section 144 has been imposed in several districts.
