Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Sep 01 (ANI): Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday inaugurated India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar. The Union Minister said, “The bank will reach to the homes of poor, dalits, women, and backwards. The Odisha which had no banks in its 4000 panchayats, has 8,200 branches of India Post in Odisha.” The new payments bank will leverage the vast network of India Post to make available basic banking facilities to those yet not availing the benefits of banking.
