Thane (Maharashtra), Sep 20 (ANI): In an act of religious harmony, Thane’s Mumbra witnessed Hindu and Muslim devotees observing their respective festivals under the same roof. The puja pandal of ‘Ekta Mitra Mandal’ witnessed Hindus performing Ganesh aarti and Muslims observing Muharram. One of the Devotees said, “Here we celebrate both the festivals of Muharram and Ganesh Chaturthi in tandem wherein, we stop our activities when the Hindus are performing puja. We have same mic and sound which the two communities use for their celebrations.”
