Kolkata (West Bengal), Sep 16 (ANI): Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee on Sunday informed that no injuries have been reported in the fire that broke out in a market in Kolkata. Chatterjee said, “The fire broke out at 2:45 am. We are trying our best but firefighting operation is tough here because of the number of buildings. 30 fire tenders have now reached at the spot. No injuries have been reported. Firefighters have reached on the first floor but on the fifth floor the fire was more intense. Even though it has been a long time since the fire started but it would come under control. There is no possibility of the fire spreading in the nearby buildings.” Massive fire broke out at the Bagri Market on Canning Street in Kolkata in wee hours of Sunday.
